Researchers surveyed 11th-grade students at Jose Rizal Institute-Orani to explore the influence of financial management practices on online shopping behavior. The study found that most students (60%) have a monthly allowance between ₱2,000 and ₱3,000, but many prioritize spending over saving. Despite knowing the importance of saving, students tend to make impulse purchases, influenced by external factors like lower prices, convenience, and promotional techniques. The study concludes that poor financial management practices lead to overspending and impulsivity, highlighting the need for students to develop good spending habits and prudent money management skills to ensure financial well-being.
