The Australian Deputy Prime Minister, Richard Marles, will travel to the United States and United Kingdom to meet with counterparts and discuss shared security objectives. During his visit, he will focus on progressing Australia's acquisition of conventionally armed, nuclear-powered submarines and modernizing the Australia-UK relationship. The Deputy Prime Minister will also represent Australia at the Artificial Intelligence Safety Summit and meet with key partners to shape the field of emerging technology. He will also thank the outgoing UK Secretary of State for Defence, Ben Wallace, for his leadership and commitment to the bilateral relationship.
